Clear Solutions And Thoughtful Guidance For Every Stage Of Life.
Biography
Jenny has had the privilege of providing representation for individuals and government entities since 1985. She began her career in general practice as a partner in a small Texas law firm focusing on criminal defense and family law matters. She later transitioned to work as a major felony prosecutor and was the director of a drug task force. While practicing in Texas, Jenny developed one of the first legal aid clinics staffed by volunteer attorneys, which received statewide recognition. Upon moving to Indiana, she returned to assisting diverse clients in family law representation, as well as probate and estate work.
After practicing in Michigan, she served as a Commissioner for the Marion County Circuit Court, where she exclusively worked in the Court’s paternity division. Following her departure from the bench, she now provides assistance to individuals navigating divorces, custody and parenting time matters, child support issues, and guardianships with Deenik Lowe. Jenny’s work is through direct representation in the courtroom, as well as a guardian ad litem, mediator, and collaborative law practitioner. Representing a wide array of people over her many years in practice has taught her that each case is as unique as the people involved and deserves specific attention. Her practice takes her to all of the counties surrounding Marion County, and to some further away.
Jenny and her husband enjoy biking Indiana’s trails and visiting their adult children in Maine and Oregon. A strong proponent of civic engagement and democracy, Jenny can be found every Election Day working at the polls and also as a judge for the Indiana Bar Association’s We The People program. As an avid backyard birder and naturalist, Jenny serves on the Board of the Indiana Audubon Society, and is always happy to help others discover the wonders of Indiana’s natural beauty. When she is not outside, she enjoys trying new recipes, attending all types of theater events, or simply falling into a good book.
