    Jonathan R. Deenik is a Certified Family Law Specialist - Family Law Certification Board. He is also a trained collaborative lawyer, as trained by the Central Indiana Association of Collaborative Professionals, of which he is a member. Jonathan is also a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.  Jonathan is a Registered Domestic Mediator. Jonathan has been named by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in the area of Family Law in 2010, 2011, 2013- 2019 as published in Indianapolis Monthly. Jonathan was named as a Top 40 under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association.
 
   Jonathan serves as chair of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association. Jonathan has been sought after to be a presenter a number of seminars for the National Business Institute and the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum.

   Jonathan has represented medical, legal, accounting, financial, closely held business owners, family farms, executives and other professionals and spouses. Jonathan understands and appreciates that the best way to be successful in any family law matter is to work as a team with his client. Jonathan knows the only way to work as a team is to maintain an open line of communication with his clients to best serve their evolving needs in Family Law matters. Jonathan also has helped a number of clients with their legal matters in Indiana, even when they live out of State. Jonathan has assisted clients living in Texas, California, Florida, Oregon, South Dakota, New York, Hawaii, Ohio and Illinois with matters pending in Indiana.

​   Jonathan resides with his Wife and three daughters in Bargersville. Jonathan has concentrated his practice in both trial work and appeals related to relationship transitions including matrimonial and family law, paternity, cohabitation agreements, premarital and postnuptial agreements, child custody, relocation, parenting time, support, and interstate disputes and modifications.
